Kevin Bacon has signed up to play the lover of an adulterous wife in an as-yet-untitled comedy. Written by Dan Fogelman and helmed by I Love You Phillip Morris directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, the new comedy will star the always-hilarious Steve Carell as a lovable loser married to cheating wife Julianne Moore.
…Well, that’s the name of his new project anyway.
Carell will soon be taking a break from his sterling work in The Office US to star in a new comedy, penned by Dan Fogelman and the directors of upcoming smash I Love You Philip Morris – Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. So what’s Steve up to this time?

An army of talented cameos only highlight the ludicrous, all-encompassing foulness of this creation, and the only reason it scrapes a half-star is that Flight Of The Conchord’s Jermaine Clement manages to steer clear of the worst bits as a vaguely amusing goat/artist.
