Seth McFarlane’s Ted adds Mila Kunis

Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane’s feature debut Ted is gathering steam, and talks are reportedly ongoing to add Mila Kunis (the voice of Meg from Family Guy) to the cast.

Ted is the story of a young boy who had wished one Christmas that his teddy bear would come to life and be his best friend forever. Picking up the narrative 25 years later, the bear has become a chain-smoking and foul mouthed toy firmly lodged alongside the boy. Producers are hoping to add Mark Wahlberg in the lead as the grown-up boy, and Kunis would play his long-suffering girlfriend. McFarlane himself will voice Ted, having voiced various characters on Family Guy over the years. With talks also underway to add Adam Scott (Step Brothers) as Kunis’ sleazy boss, this project is one to get excited about.

McFarlane is writing with the help of two of his Family Guy co-writers, Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, and with the cast names linked so far it seems we have a definite one to watch here.
